Gross Misconduct: Combining equal parts calculated aggression, harmony-laden structures and unique song writing, Gross Misconduct is poised to forge an undeniable mark on the metal landscape with the release of the band’s sophomore album, The Disconnect.

Mixed by Neil Kernon (Cannibal Corpse, Nile, Deicide) and mastered by Alan Douches (Mastodon, Dillinger Escape Plan), The Disconnect highlights Gross Misconduct’s trademark genre-twisting style, one that combines classic melodic song structures with today’s death, thrash, grind and progressive scenes to create a unique hybrid of modern metal.

The band has enjoyed a whirlwind of success since releasing its 2007 debut, The Process of Indoctrination, garnering overwhelmingly positive reviews in both Canadian and international media.

Since releasing their debut effort, the Vancouver-based four piece has played shows or toured with high-profile international and Canadian metal acts including At the Gates, The Haunted, Napalm Death,Amon Amarth, Brutal Truth, Forbidden, Martyr, Neuraxis, Fuck the Facts, Augury, Unexpect, and Infernal Majesty, on top of the 2007 and 2009 Vancouver dates of the Warped Tour.

The band has attracted significant interest throughout the college and online radio circuits in North America, charting as high as #2 on the monthly Earshot Loud charts in January 2008 ,while maintaining high chart positions in various Canadian cities throughout 2008 and 2009.

The positive response to the band’s debut led to Gross Misconduct attaining Canadian distribution through PHD Distribution and U.S. distribution via The End Records. With the release of The Disconnect, Gross Misconduct is now looking to continue its path of momentum on a worldwide scale.
